Our Offerings

Diploma Prep Courses:

At Level-up Learning, we are dedicated to enabling students to reach their academic goals. Our Diploma Prep courses offer 16 hours of instructional review for each subject in a small class setting. The focus will be on content as well as the nuances of writing the Alberta Diploma Exams in Biology 30, Chemistry 30, and Mathematics 30-1.

Taught by current, qualified, and highly experienced high school teachers with a track record of success in helping their students reach their potential on the provincial exams.

Location

Each session will take place at the Strathcona Community Association. In our emails to you, we will outline where in the building to meet for each session.

Instructors

Jennifer Parker Bio 30

Jennifer has been teaching science and math for over twenty years. She is a teacher who prioritizes hands-on learning, application of theory to the real world, and helping all students reach their potential. She is a winner of the Alberta Excellence in Education Award and has taught Biology 30 and AP Biology for twelve years as well as been an item writer for the diploma exam. In addition to her thorough knowledge of the Biology 30 content, Jennifer has analyzed trends in the exam and developed resources to prepare students for the exam. She knows which topics are challenging and has strategies for interpreting questions and tips for studying. She is looking forward to helping you prepare for your final exam by solidifying your knowledge and providing opportunities to solve and receive feedback on the types of questions you will see on the exam.

Get on our mailing list for Drop-In Tutoring

Beginning in September of 2025, we will be offering drop-in tutoring for math and science courses. It's a great place for students to get their homework done in a supportive environment.
